I think I did wonder. No—I know I did. I’m a good person. I’ve done everything right. Why is this happening to me?
Then, in a book, I read what the Buddha taught: suffering and loss are as much a part of living as breathing itself.
Why have I thought, what is a part of life, shouldn’t happen to me? It’s nonsense—and I’m happy to be relieved of that expectation.

I love this, i just watched a documentary on Buddha, absolutely amazing! he teaches that we can feel anger, jealousy, sadness or lust, because we are human, and it is okay to be so! I’m glad you shared this 🙂
Is that on PBS? If so, I’ve seen that too. The Buddhist path always resonates for me. Thanks for sharing.
i’m not even sure, to be honest, new homeonwer, we only watch netflix, haha. It’s just called The Buddha.
We only watch Netflix too and I believe that is the one that aired on PBS.
