Here at The Soul Reporter, I dig into the soul, sharing that journey and what I find with you. There was a time, this was all I needed to do in order to feel good and live well. That was until a couple of years ago when I visited a nutritionist. I was experiencing intense premenstrual symptoms, bloating, irritability, and she told me to give up gluten. What in the world is gluten?
For months, I investigated this little protein filler and realized it was in just about everything. Following her “diet” I began feeling better within a week. The bloat began to diminish. The fog began to lift and I was less angry. During this gluten-free transition, I have fallen off the wagon straight into a donut shop or a cheeseburger spot, especially here in California. However, in developing this new blog, I hope to get back on track and support others while doing so.
Whether you are gluten-sensitive and just beginning your journey, or never heard of it before this blog can assist. It isn’t fancy and full of complicated ingredients and even more complicated recipes. It is basic. Simple. Real. And hopefully affordable, which are all needed when we begin a new lifestyle change.
